We love a couple full of fun filled ideas and keen to embrace seasonal, locally grown flowers into the mix, so when Laura and Dan got in touch about their Disco themed colourful wedding, it sounded right up our street! We really enjoy taking a theme and elevating it into something organic, expressive and of course, with a strong emphasis on seasonal, textured blooms. They were super chilled about what colours they had, trusting in the process and happy with whatever were the best flowers blooming at the time.

I met both Dan and Laura on the day of their wedding at The Woodhouse Barn when they arrived, having already installed the floral arrangements into the Hen House ceremony room in the morning. The couple supplied their own gin bottles that we added flowers to and dotted down the aisle. We also provided a lush table centre arrangement and 2 rustic milk churns. It was a bit of a windy day, so the churns had to stay inside, but we think they still look lovely against the rustic wooden backdrop.
Laura arrived in style, with Welsh flags flying and was greeted by Ianto the whippet, who was more excited than anyone!!! I then presented Laura with her flowers, she opted for a multi-layered pink ribbon in a variety of shades, which really suited her vibrant personality, and the windy day ensured there was plenty of flowing fabric, creating fabulous dynamic photos, artfully captured by Angharad Thomas Photography. The flowers themselves were a mix of Dahlias, Zinnias, Cosmos, Sweet Peas, Roses, herbs and seasonal foliage, in a jewel colour theme.

Led down the aisle by Ianto the dog and on her lovely Dad's arm, Laura couldn't wait to meet her beau and sign on the dotted line, sealed with kisses for each other and of course Ianto, who as you can probably tell, was a bit of a super star!

Then it was time to have a few drinks and thank their family and friends for coming all the way to beautiful Pembrokeshire, before heading off for a cheeky photo shoot with Angharad.

Dan and his best men opted for dark suits, Dan's was a rich forest green tuxedo in velvet, while the groomsmen wore sophisticated black to match the Bridesmaids. They opted for pocket square boutonnières, which looked really opulent and vibrant against the dark suits.
Laura's bridesmaids wore mix and match black dresses, which all stemmed from a joke from her best girls, who said they would only be a bridesmaids if they could wear black! Well it was a great joke as far as I'm concerned as they look really chic and make the colours of the flowers really pop.

Then it was time for Ianto to have a bit of a rest (Well he is a whippet, so well past bedtime!!!) and onto my favourite bit, the confetti throw.
Whilst all this was going on, we were making ourselves busy moving the flowers from the Hen House into the main barn ensuring it looked perfect for the couple’s grand entrance down the hand crafted wooden staircase, which Laura, Dan and their family and friends had disco balled to high heaven.

Laura and Dan made a stylish entrance to much applause, surrounded by seasonal flowers and foliage.
The gin bottles, initially used as aisle flowers were popped onto the guest tables and the couple also opted for some extra vase arrangements that were generally dotted round the barn to add lots of colour.

Then just before getting the party really started, it was time for a little golden hour photo shoot and we think these photos by Angharad Thomas are just breathtaking!

Llongyfarchiadau Laura and Dan, we loved working with you guys in creating this very unique, memorable and beautiful wedding!
