Hannah and Jon’s July wedding at Nantwen and Fforest Coast

Hannah and Jon got ready for their wedding at the charming Fforest Coast, a sister venue to Fforest Farm in Ceredigion. It’s not a licensed wedding venue, more an exclusive group get away, so the legal part of the day was performed at beautiful Nantwen, where I met up with the wedding party, to ensure all the buttonholes and wrist corsages were properly attached and everyone was looking their best.

I met Hannah for the first time at the Nantwen entrance where she got the first glimpse of her own and her Bridesmaid’s bouquets (I think she liked them!). It was also the first time I met the wonderful Ella Richardson, who captured these amazing candid photographs over the course of the day.

Hannah and Jon wanted a colourful wildflower vibe, that extended through all the floral designs on the day. We used a mix of Foxgloves, Veronica, Hypericum, Cornflowers, Feverfew, seed pods and grasses to create this wild colourful look, with lots of texture for added interest.

After the flower girl and bridesmaids walked down the aisle, Hannah was given away by her Dad to the very lovely Jon. We love a dress with pockets, practical but also high fashion, plus it was a pre-loved gown from Renew Bridal, so very eco friendly too!

Bridal Bouquet as Ceremony Table Adornment

It’s a great money saving idea to use the bridal bouquet to adorn the ceremony table during the service, people can appreciate its beauty while it’s sat there and it saves a bridesmaid having to hold 2 bouquets! Hannah chose a cascading bouquet, finished with a bright pink bamboo silk ribbon from Little Acorn Silks to complete the rustic Bohemian vibe.

After the ‘I Do’s’ it was time for the confetti throw, one of my favourite wedding day moments, where all your nearest and dearest get to shower you with congratulations and love ❤️

Then, after a few celebratory drinks it was time for a wander through the gorgeous wildflower meadow at Nantwen, that was awash with Oxeye Daisy and looked glorious.

We’re completely in love with the bouquet behind the back shots that Ella captures, it really compliments the relaxed, chilled vibe and shows off the beautiful cut out in that amazing dress!

With the wildflower meadow photo shoot complete, it was time to head back to Fforest Coast and the beach for a few more beautiful pictures!

With so many beautiful memories to treasure, this wedding was totally unique and very intimate, full of kindness and well wishes, that reflected the deep bond Hannah and Jon clearly have for each other and their loved ones! Llongyfarchiadau you guys and thank you for letting us be a small part of your perfect day, it was a stunner!!!
