Rhosygilwen Mansion is a beautiful, quirky place to get married, with magical surroundings and loads of places to get great photos! They’re also passionate about sustainability and local produce, which is a plus in our book.
Rosie and Tom were keen to embrace seasonal, locally grown flowers for their August wedding and were really relaxed about the colours and bouquet styles, giving us full licence to work with whatever looked best in the flower field. We chose a selection of colourful Dahlias, Cosmos and Zinnias mixed with grasses and seed pods to add texture plus sweet peas, herbs and honeysuckle for fragrance.
With a background in art and fashion, we were confident that Rosie would love an asymmetrical bouquet, finished with a Little Acorn Silks orange crepe de chine ribbon, giving a contemporary but chic vibe and featuring lots of bold, bright colours, the biggest trend for 2024.
The Bridesmaids and flower girls had smaller versions of the Rosie’s bouquet, keeping everything very loose and wild in style.
The buttonholes were in keeping with the colourful romantic vibe, all of them a little bit different so they have their own personality!
Tom’s buttonhole featured a rose to match the one in Rosie’s bouquet and to celebrate his beautiful bride’s name.
The photographer who captured these stunning images is Cardiff based Santara Photography who specialises in capturing candid, soft, romantic images. He completely captured the joy, love, beauty and the couple’s personalities so perfectly. We think he’s super talented and great at putting couples at ease.
Surely having such a beautiful couple to work with makes the job a bit easier though!
Llongyfarchiadau Rosie and Tom, diolch yn fawr for letting be a small part of your perfect day!
