When Sara and Matt first contacted us, it was clear that these guys were really modern, super chilled and wanted a relaxed festival vibe featuring all the colours of the rainbow.
For her bouquet Sara wanted something very contemporary and a bit quirky to suit the halter neck jumpsuit and was quite happy to trust in our creativity as the priority was to embrace seasonal Welsh flowers. We picked the last of the season’s Peonies and blended them with a gorgeous mix of colourful garden Roses, Astrantia, Sanguisorba, Scabious, Alchemilla, Nepeta and Sweet Peas.
Matt decided he wasn’t going to wear a suit, as it’s just not him, so we made a pocket square boutonnière to fit the pocket of his shirt and we love how it looks against the soft green fabric.
Proudly born and bred in Swansea, Sara and Matt opted to tie the knot in Swansea Registry Office and we are just completely besotted with these confetti shots by Pippa Carvell.
After the ceremony it was off to Clyne Gardens for some more gorgeous photos, this hidden oasis not far from Swansea city centre creates a beautiful lush backdrop that makes the rainbow colour palette really pop.
Then it was back to Sara’s parents house on the Gower for a few more confetti shots (why not, when the look this good!)
Sara and Matt hired a marquee and opted for 30 mixed height vases to place on the tables and just dot around to keep the colour theme present in every aspect of their day.
Our bridal bouquets always arrive in a vase of water, to keep them super fresh! Sara opted to place her bouquet back in the vase and use it to adorn the top table and we think it’s a really smart way of making the most of your bridal flowers and ensures it can be enjoyed all day.
When I spoke to Sara the next day, she said that she’d had soooo many lovely compliments about the flowers and that she’d literally had THE BEST DAY EVER! Llongyfarchiadau you two, we’re so glad you picked us to be part of your special day!!!
